A place where Ancient Ancient armies can peacefully retire to...
Possibly.
Oh, and some pulp. A few things on 6mm SciFi tanks and stuff. And the toy soldiers. Especially the War of 1897... And now I seem to be starting on 20mm Napoleonics as well!

Some recruits from New Zealand
Received earlier today... some Russian Pavlovski Guard RN1 and RN2 from the 1972 catalogue.
So two extra figures from the original ranges to be added...
But before they can be sent off they need to be stripped. Seen here next to some of the other figures on the hell hole known as my painting table.
Probably 2-3 weeks in Dettol, then I'll get round to getting everything together and sort out moulds.
Hold off doing a unit of Pavlovski Guards for myself (using the marching figure) until the officer is available, advancing figurecurrent policy of being happy to help the old guard fill up units or add a few extra units (bearing in mind liable to be a wait!)
Least I could do, Rob.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see a regiment of them!
Best regards
Matthew
Might take a while but I think it could be arranged...
DeleteThey certainly look the "thing".
ReplyDeleteThe officer does have a certain old school look about it.
DeleteGreat figures, looking forward to seeing what you do with them.
