A place where Ancient Ancient armies can peacefully retire to...
Possibly.
Oh, and some pulp. A few things on 6mm SciFi tanks and stuff. And the toy soldiers. Especially the War of 1897... And now I seem to be starting on 20mm Napoleonics as well!

Airfix Persians
While going through various boxes I found these old figures - Airfix Ancient Brits converted to Persians. I've had quite a few different Persian armies over the years.
Oh yes. Romans converted to Macedonian phalangites, 'Flavian' horse archers from US Cavalry with Roman archer tops, other US cavalry to cataphracts using wood glue hardened toilet paper... there are bits of everything in my attic. Of course, I still use 'home made' chariots. The mass of Garrison 20mm conversions I produced had a very long genesis.
Wonderful conversions. Back in that time one could make nearly everything out of the britions with just a sharp blade, glue and Banana Oil......Great
