Still wading through Admins...

I think the best way of describing this range is a quagmire. It's nearly as hard as working out Garrison 20mm Napoleonics or Minifigs S Range...

There are a couple of mysteries/issues with this lot...

While this lot include some assumptions and a 'new' figure.

AD34 Dwarf rider with axe riding AD270. The horse and badger riders seem to be the same figures - haven't gone through all of them though. This is the 'correct' horse - there are indentations in the horse's side for the legs to fit. I think the ones in Lost Minis Wiki are on other horses.

AD63 Redcap (evil border goblin). Being described as a Redcap I naturally painted the cap red!

AD77 Dwarf rider with sword riding AD270

AD142 Dark Goblin ninja throwing shuiken

AD148 Dark goblin ninja with ninjato

AD157 Kraken wriggling. Don't know why a Kraken would have a shell.

AD237 Pony. Haven't really looked to find riders for this - must try a goblin or two.

AD250 Wizard. One of the puzzles. The mould listing includes a lot of Celts plus the figure originally put down as AD250... then I noticed this one had pointy ears... plus shares characteristics with the evil wizard casting spells.  Now I need to find out what the current LMW placeholder actually is. Also, the casting list as opposed to LMW and the mould list describe AD250 as having a dagger and crystal ball.

AD253 Muffin. Or Dobbin. Both on same mould, so this is an assumption.

AD257 Running ninja

AD252 Dobbin. See above under Muffin

ADSP22 Goblin HWRI with blaster. Not listed on LMW but in thehard copy of the online catalogue.

ADSP23 Chaos Droid 1. OK, Droids a mysery. ADSP23 and 24 are not in LMW but...  There are 3 droids in the catalogue, 6,7 and 8, but nothing about these in my mould catalogue. This one would seemto fit nicely as ADSP08, Evil Droid, what, with the tentacles and all...

ADSP24,  . Chaos Droid 2.  So probably ADSP07, Dug droid or Bug robot. Crude figures but they have their uses. Stands made from dowel and MDF circular bases.
DA26 Kicking ninja

DA26 back view. The back view definitely looks better!

DA27 Taueret (hippoman). Doesn't usually have a mace but had an open hand so... likewise haven't a clue how I should have painted it!

DA45 Female Orc

DA50 Mounted DA04 Warrior with sword. Not in the catalogue, just found the figure in the 'Masters' box - one of the few that are actually intact! I'm thinking this figure and the 2 infantry types (DA04 nd the halbardier) would make a good basis for an Alice or Dorothy setting.Red Queen or Emerald City militias.

Can't say the horse is an exact depiction of an actual horse.

Steven's getting started on the armour...

'A teaser - been assembling almost all of my tanks for a mass undercoat/basecoat. I used the entire spray can in one day.'

Certainly looks impressive.

Old Medieval Skirmish pack

Dug this up having been neglected since I got it...

It says 25mm figures included - but bigger, scale creep in action.

The magazine dates the pack to 2001.

It's a complete game including buildings

Painting instructions and rules - rules by Iain Dickie, editor of  Miniature Wargames at the time.

Figures by Front Rank. The dice were also included.

So overall  pretty much a complete game.

Giants and skeletons

Doing lots of things at the moment, giants to put together a giants army for HoTT, assorted beastmen and skeletons plus a few that are just for my own records and Lost Minis Wiki.

This pretty much covers the skeleton range including two different standard bearers and two different spearmen. Haven't done the individual figures yet. Chances are this lot will be used as Hordes.

There are three figures of Beastmen in the AD Range but the one armed with an axe isn't on the mould it's supposed to be on. The rank and file figure is open handed and can be used with a choice of weapons - the ones I found most useful are (weirdly) from the Warman range.

Three giants, the middle one being a conversion of the winged demon with flaming sword.

Water spirit and fire  spirit, plus a nymph painted as a water spirit flitting about on land.

Assorted trolls and goblins. Again, open handed figures. The strange one in front looks like demented goblin with two stick grenades. It isn't identified on the mould  and I can't find a 'space' where it fits on any of the Admins Ranges.

And finally a yeti and goblin werewolf. I wasn't sure whether I should paint the werewolf green, decided against. It does have a right ear, honest. It's just not in the view of the camera...

So next thing will be painting assorted zombies and things, then probably some Amazon archers before I cast some figures from the new mould.
