| Another Roman cavalry unit, REC4. After this I'll do a unit of REC3 and 5 so that I've got a unit of all the Garrison cavalry figures. |

So getting on quite well with the Romans - this phase needs a couple of units of light infantry and two units of cavalry to be comple, but the army itself will still need more auxilia and, possibly, another unit of REC4. Another possibility would be to give them a dedicated unit of Sarmations as well.

I bet they look like Trigans to 15mm figures.
ReplyDelete:) - and if I had some 15mm figures...
DeleteGreat figure and they make for a lovely unit, very nice work.
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice figure. At some stage I might get a second unit.
DeletePleasantly nostalgic to see these figures. My own Roman and Ancient British armies went away years ago - sometimes I wish I'd made a better effort at that period. The death knell was when the Airfix infantry started shedding arms and legs (plastic rot); I also had some Hollywood style auxiliaries which were by Atlantic - the quality was provided by my 20mm Garrisons - cavalry, artillery and generals all really good. They all went away to New Zealand years ago, and the recipient was pleased with them, so that's the main thing. Anyway - thanks - nice to see these old chaps.
ReplyDeleteAnd still working my way through them...
