| Ran out of paint for the bases so basing the figures will have to wait until the new paint arrives... |

| I don't have any specifically Auxiliary command figures so just picked out an officer and standard bearer that seemed reasonable. |
At the moment I'm painting a couple of cavalry units and some LI in wolfskins.

Great looking unit, very nice miniatures.
ReplyDeleteKeep thinking 'will I actually finish a Garrison Roman army.' Working on it.
DeleteVery nice And pleasingly old school.
ReplyDeleteHard to change old habits. Especially when you prefer them anyway :)
DeleteVery nice Rob…
ReplyDeleteBrings back memories… I had some of these many moons ago…
All the best. Aly
Thank you. The photos on these haven't turned out as well as I would have liked, but the figures themselves are actually better than I expected - so hopefully I will keep up the momentum on these for a while!
DeleteClassic models - I also had some of those - looking good!
ReplyDeleteThis figure I never liked - bit stiff - but in this paint scheme it does grow on you.
DeleteAre these the original 20mm Garrison range figures? If so, are they available anywhere. I have some, but nowhere near enough.
ReplyDeleteYes, they are - I own the moulds (many new) and copyrights. I closed Garrison in 2014 but still cast figures on request - figure if people find out about me the least I can do is cast for them!
DeleteMarvellous wo-mans Rob. As one who likes a bit of variety, it is always nice to see a yellow (or white or green) tunic rather than red!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes, James
I used to do Auxilia in green - but tend to reserve red for the legions anyway.
