Or shielding, or whatever...
Haven't got the 'official' government leter yet,but have got an email from Norflk County Council:
Main points are:
'You will have received (or will be receiving very shortly) a letter from the Government advising you that as someone who is clinically extremely vulnerable, to protect your health you should:
- Stay at home as much as possible
- If you can work from home then do, if you can’t work from home then DON’T go to work (please continue to read this letter for further information on Statutory Sick Pay)
- Do not go shopping or go to pharmacies
- Exercise outdoors where it is safe to do so
- You should also try to stay 2 metres away from other people within your household, especially if they display symptoms of the virus or have been advised to self-isolate
- Continue to attend your medical appointments that support your underlying health conditions'
So, even if they're not callingit shielding, I don't see much difference!
I’ve been avoiding the plague carrying masses since March... so the only real difference for me is, not being furloughed.
ReplyDeleteApparently it’s only for four weeks... anyway I haven’t got anything planned .
All the best. Aly
I've made a point of not visiting towns or going near crowds but at least I have been going out - even had a couple of days at a coastal hotel we know, Titchwell Manor, but that's all out now. Happily, lots of garden work to do. Strangely, on a painting/gaming desert at the moment - haven't touched a paintbrush since finishing the Bavarians.
