Another one of my crude modelling attempts... a rather large Cerebus. |
Surprisingly, the concept worked even if the execution is a bit iffy. |
Meanwhile I thought 'Oh why not, just paint the oversized flamingoes'... as a flock, they don't look bad. |
Although even the smaller ones are a bit oversized. Flamingoes in real life can grow up to about 5', think the tallest of this lot are about 7-8'! |
The flock of flamingoes look very intimidating, like prehistoric killer birds, useful adversaries to have.
ReplyDeleteA slight design and colour scheme change would make these decent stand ins for vultures or killer birds. Or dodos.
ReplyDeleteThey all look great, have you got a game scenario brewing that will use them all?
ReplyDeleteIf I was in a land where I might encounter a ferocious giant hound with two heads, then the odd seven-foot flamingo wouldn't worry me at all...
It has three heads... nope, just playing.
DeleteHe looks quite jolly to me. Definitely a good boy!
ReplyDeleteIt does actually work quite well even if it is about as crude as a sculpt can be.
