Again, armour is simply painted on. |
I'm beginning to like the idea of the officer figure, spear and wearing a long skirt. That white mark on the skirt... looked on the figure and can't find it! |
A place where Ancient Ancient armies can peacefully retire to... Possibly. Oh, and some pulp. A few things on 6mm SciFi tanks and stuff. And the toy soldiers. Especially the War of 1897... And now I seem to be starting on 20mm Napoleonics as well! email GarrisonMiniatures@gmail.com

A fine looking unit, very nice indeed.
ReplyDeleteThank you - I do think they've turned out OK.
DeleteNicley done once more! The painted armour idea is working well.
ReplyDeleteThank you - yes, it is.
DeleteI love them Rob, but I dont think I will be copying your madness. Not this time.
ReplyDeleteWell, once the masters are made and then a mould made, simply a matter of casting, painting and basing. I've done things in the past that were far crazier. At the time, buying Garrison - just that that one turned out to be one of the best things I've ever done!
DeleteA very fine unit, Rob. Nice pose on the spearwomen with the shield presented squarely towards the enemy. That white mark on the officer's skirt - think 'gloss paint'. You won't find that mark otherwise!
ReplyDeletecheesr,
Ion
Thank you. I get a lot of use out of some of the original '20mm' Ancients figures!
