| Caught in the current we have drifted away from the sunken city. However, we are now caught on a sandbag. Fishman attacks ended once we left their domain. We have drifted onto a sandbank which gives us a chance to see if the propellers can be cleared of weed. |
Day 6

| We're clear! Free of the sandbank but still drifting South. We are keeping the engines going on minimal power as we are heading the right direction but have concerns about coal supplies. |
Day 10

| We continue to drift South on the current. These are indeed strange seas - crew on watch constantly and there have been reports of sea serpents... |
Seemed a good idea to finish things of properly. On the other hand, the ship and it's crew are still floating about on 'Strange Seas' - good title for a series of scenarios... At some time I might even give the ship and it's crew names! Looks like the start of a series!
Which was not the intention when I set the first one up!
Excellent stuff. I was listening to the DART dramatised version of Call of Cthulhu recently, so it's good to see a happier outcome for the sailors.
ReplyDeleteStuck in an unknown dimension on a strange sea full of sea monsters, limited fuel and with three crew members injured... yes, at the moment it is definitely a happier outcome...
