Salute 52 (2025)

So, Steven at the start... we went around for a while before he vanished for most of the day...

Some interesting figures around.

Pity about a couple of the photos.

Nice to meet a group from my home town, Gateshead.

Though from Low Fell rather than the Team  Valley where I came from.

Another photo that didn't work very well.

But they had a good stand

Bought some paint.

Plus my year's supply of paint brushes.

Liked the layout on this game.

Plus a nice little western set up.

Nice idea. I was seriously tempted...

Lots of options - it's certainly worth going through. So website bookmarked

Not a major Warhammer fan but this lot...

Certainly impressive!

And this one ...

Quirky terrain, very steampunk in looks.

Another one for impressive terrain. And tanks. Lots of tanks.

Love that building.

Overall, impressive display.

This one caught the attention. Real 'smoke'.

A Crooked Dice scenario.

Very neat  and simple layout. Plus I've already got some of the Sarissa buildings in my Newhaven set up.

Amd that was Salute 52...

  1. Some very interesting looking games and miniatures on show, looks like it was a good day out.

  2. A good day out by the look of it, Rob - that Gotterdammerung Berlin 1945 table is fantastic!

  3. There was so much to see, as usual. Very tiring on the lags and feet all that concrete, but I managed to walk all the traders and games in the 3 1/2 hours I was there. Particularly liked the WARSAW '44 game. It was very detailed

  4. Looks like a good day out. I have the loke big cyberpunk battlemat book. It is excellent but for some reason they wasted two pages on just a blank squared mat.

    1. They did look good - just not sure which ones (if any) I could use!
