... so please ignore the Ancient Spanish and Celts lining up...
Quite some time ago I was given a load of 2x2 and 2x1 terrain boards by Robby Rodiss. Of course, I then had medical problems which meant I couldn't lift anything other than light weights and the boards were too heavy so I haven't had a chance to use them. Starting to get better, I've finally got some of them out...

They're designed for 6mm figures and many were built for demonstrations at conventions - a couple of these were made for the Battle of Wagram. |
|
Some of them are parked along the side of my shed. |

This one looks weird - believe me, it's just the camera angle. It will be very useful for 6mm battles but probably nothing else - but then, they are always the Swarm Wars... |
|
Or perhaps I'll just have to buy some 6mm Medieval armies. |
Once again, thanks Robbie!
Wow! What a (number of) set-ups and configurations you'll have. Terribly envious here.
ReplyDeleteBest Regards,
Stokes
I did count them at the time - think there's about 30 boards. We filled the back of our Peugeot 2008 with them...
DeleteGood to see them of use Rob. I hope you enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteI intend to! They're far better than anything I would ever do.
DeleteNice to hear you are on the mend. Nice terrain too.
ReplyDeleteStill a way to go but on a quarter of the steroids I was on... another 6-12 months to go, I'm probably at 75-80% now!
DeleteThat looks like a lot of work, work very well done.
ReplyDeleteI started a series of 2x2 flocked terrain boards in the early 80's, got 6 done out of a planned 12. Not as good as these but not bad when they were new. I made mistakes though and within three years they were warped with corners worn and flock shedding.
Terrain (and basing figures) has always been a weakness of mine, so these are a quantum leap forward on anything I have ever/will ever do.
