The two men and standing woman are from the M.U. Expedition to the Amazon set while the sitting woman is from the M.U. Expedition up the Mekong set.
I've gone for eyes plus shading look rather than block colours,
Have to admit I'm quite pleased at how they've turned out.
The intention is to catch up a bit on my 25/28mm pulp figures - they've been sadly neglected lately!
I think the painting style has improved the look of the characters significantly.
ReplyDeleteThank you. It is better for larger figures (as in 28mmish, not 42 or 54!)
DeleteYou seem to be doing more detailed painting again Rob. Is this an effect of your eye op and new glasses or just that you fancied a change?
ReplyDeleteStill using 'old' glasses for painting - eye test on Saturday. However - no longer have what amounts to a yellow filter in my eyes and can focus a lot better - tat last mm or 2 makes a difference on focus. Plus liked the idea of a change now that I can actually do it!
DeleteNice work. No doubt they'll soon be eaten or driven mad.
ReplyDeleteWell, both sets came with their own monsters!
DeleteNicely done Rob…
ReplyDeleteI like the racy socks on the explorer…
All the best. Aly
For some reason I just pictured the figure in Argyle socks... plain brown just didn't seem right.
