A place where Ancient Ancient armies can peacefully retire to...
Possibly.
Oh, and some pulp. A few things on 6mm SciFi tanks and stuff. And the toy soldiers. Especially the War of 1897... And now I seem to be starting on 20mm Napoleonics as well!

Warman Miniatures
Apart from having a few moulds and the fact that they are Saxons and Vikings I know nothing whatsoever about this range...
Haven't bothered about adding weapons - just put them up for interest!
Like Donnie, neither seen or heard of these before. Crude to the point of weird in cases (a couple would make good zombies). I'm guessing early 80s origin?
Never heard of those - they look a bit milliputty and a bit like somebody's first efforts. That mail armour technique using a hollow tube - typically a ball-point pen with the ball knocked out - was something you see on early Asgard figures - you can only do that with 'putty' built figures.
Never heard of them before, interesting though, always good to see figures that are new to me.
ReplyDeleteThey're not what you could call 'good'.
DeleteThey are a bit rough but do possess a bit of charm about them and I think they may paint up decent enough.
DeleteMight try painting up some to slightly below minimum wargames standards just to see what they do look like.

ReplyDeleteLiterally, no idea but seems a reasonable guess.
DeleteThat was my first thought too. Give ‘em a decidedly below par paint job and you’ve got a horde of Dark Age zombies 😉
DeleteCheers,
Geoff

ReplyDeleteThey're certainly very crude.
DeleteVery
