Anyway, some time ago I passed one on to my son Steven and he's now painted it: I should ask him how big it is...
A place where Ancient Ancient armies can peacefully retire to... Possibly. Oh, and some pulp. A few things on 6mm SciFi tanks and stuff. And the toy soldiers. Especially the War of 1897... And now I seem to be starting on 20mm Napoleonics as well! email GarrisonMiniatures@gmail.com

Sherlock Holmes
When I bought Garrison it came with very few of the 'larger' figures. However, one of these was a large figure of Sherlock Holmes (can't remember now if it was 60mm or 90mm).

On my screen its very big! But well painted,
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty effective.
DeleteLoads of character there! More Basil Rathbone than Jeremy Brett though.
ReplyDeleteBest Regards,
Stokes
It has a sort of sepia feel about it that is very effective.
DeleteRob please cast a couple up. I would love to own one.
ReplyDeleteI'll see if I can did the mould out!
Delete2 cast.
DeleteThank you got the positive comments. The model is 85mm from bottom of base to the top if the head. Sherlock himself is 75mm.
ReplyDeleteFor anyone wondering. 'Unknown' is Steven... must find his 15mm Japanese someday - we went to Salute one year with them expecting to enter the Juniors, he was a few months over so got a second prize in the adults section instead.
