Foam cutter for various purposes... |
Haven't tried it yet so that should be interesting. |
Initially got some 20mm polystyrene sheets as terrain bases. Going to be fun painting them without dissolving them :) |
And also some 5mm foamboard to see if it's any use for making buildings or walls. Think I'm looking forward to trying to etch stonework on the surfaces... |
This is the main reason for the 20mm polystyrene - see if I can add terrain around it. Currently, I have to have a big step... |
I look forward to hearing how well this works and seeing the results.

So do I!
DeleteIndustrial scale hot-wire? I'm jealous. Hope it all delivers as you wish, but do stay well ventliated.
ReplyDeleteNot sure about industrial scale :). Ventilation definitely noted!
DeleteThat looks very useful…
ReplyDeleteI could do with one myself…
All the best. Aly
Haven't got round to trying it yet.

Looks like a useful device, there is a very interesting FB group, called Foam Plastic Modelling, or something like it. Beautiful stuff displayed by its members, lot of it useful for us.
ReplyDeleteFoam modelling workshop? Already a member... don't expect to reach the standard of some of the stuff there! https://www.facebook.com/groups/foamworkshop
