After doing a few I accidentally cut a spear point 'wrong' and it looks better! So a couple more of these made for a mould. |
Meanwhile also working on a heavier spear woman and a light javelin woman. |
A place where Ancient Ancient armies can peacefully retire to... Possibly. Oh, and some pulp. A few things on 6mm SciFi tanks and stuff. And the toy soldiers. Especially the War of 1897... And now I seem to be starting on 20mm Napoleonics as well! email GarrisonMiniatures@gmail.com

They should look really good when painted up, nice figures. A few units of them will be a great addition to your army.

DeleteCertainly working! I wonder how the spear lady would look with a pike?
ReplyDeleteWell, the Swiss used a sort of overhead way of handling a pike, but to make the figure use the pike in a normal way would probably be more trouble than it's worth.
DeleteIf you took the pike down through both hands and raced against her right foot, maybe?
DeleteYou might also try a trident type spear head, a bit like a medieval corseque?
Still working on various options, might be a while before I settle on a couple.
DeleteLook good to me Rob.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteThose work well - good choice of shields for those spear-women too.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Still looking at options...
