It seems that the '20mm' figures are even more use than I thought. |
However I'm not as certain it would work with shields facing front. |
One thing that worked - they fit quite well together. It's very rough - I haven't bothered tidying things up. Especially the right shoulder! |
Now all I need to do is get a few good fits together to put on a mould. |
Need to fix up that shoulder though! :-)
ReplyDeleteProof of concept figure only. From start to finish - cutting up figures, gluing them together, painting them - about 6-7 hours! By the time I'd finished painting it the glue probably still wasn't set hard enough for me to grind the shoulder down!
DeleteYou have certainly charged into this project Rob….
ReplyDeleteHow big do you think the army will be ?
All the best. Aly
Now there's a question - I NEVER know how things will go! Initially just thinking about 3 units of archers, a couple of units of heavier infantry, few horse archers, probably another couple of chariots, cleric stand, couple of beasts, possibly Pegasus type as a flyer. Certainly not going for anything on the same scale as my Greeks or Persians? Basically I'm just playing, see where it goes and for how long.
