A quickly arranged homecoming parade down Church Street... some of the crew in their Sunday best, Naval Honour Guard, followed by some friends and family. |
The procession headed for St Catherine's where the vicar plus representatives from both the monastery and nunnery waited to welcome them into the church. |
Apart from the family and friends following the crew other people had been bussed in and many were already in the church. |
Of course, the trouble with open rifts is that anything might pass through... |
A wonderful parade but looks like the Green Meanies may be about to rain on it.....
ReplyDeleteWell, parades are very useful for that sort of thing.
DeleteI do like a cliffhanger, splendid!

I do like to set things up like that if I can. This one just naturally lends itself to it.
DeleteSplendid stuff…
ReplyDeleteThere always seems to be a bunch of slimy green gate crashers determined to ruin a good party/parade…
All the best. Aly
Sadly, this is true. Though not always green.
