A place where Ancient Ancient armies can peacefully retire to...
Possibly.
Oh, and some pulp. A few things on 6mm SciFi tanks and stuff. And the toy soldiers. Especially the War of 1897... And now I seem to be starting on 20mm Napoleonics as well!

Persian Kardaka
A couple of years ago I mentioned possibly doing some Greek infantry as helmeted Kardaka.
Took a while, but these are the result.
As a major troop type in some later Persian armies I suppose I should do a few more units...
They look good, nice 'old school' look! I am about to start my attempt at a few Kardaka with the HaT figures, you have helped with a 'nudge' to do that!
If your hands no longer let you do quality... then 'looks good onthe table' is a pretty good substitute. Though to be fair I just don't like spending hours on one figure.
They have come out very well, look great en masse, adding more units would make for a really impressive sight.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I agree - nothing quite like having a Review with lots and lots of hoplite types.

ReplyDeleteand yes, they do look good en masse - 'quantity has a quality of it's own..'
