As I recall the 1977 version of the lists with the equal mix of javelin and sling, shield was more effective!

ReplyDeleteThe thick bows are practical and don't snap off - more accurate and prettier ones are often so fragile - yes, I much prefer plain, simple and practical over extreme accuracy and detail for wargaming. Display and showing off is a different story.
