Except my son painted these when he was about 15-17?
Assorted Mongols and Sung - basically, lumped together as a Yuan army.
(Bad joke of the time: General sees army, asks out loud 'Who are they? Butler answers 'Yuan, my Lord?' General replies, 'No I didn't ring. I asked what army that was.' - as I said, seemed funny at the time.)
An attractive lot.
ReplyDeletei remember when 15mm seemed a very reasonable scale, the closest I got to ancients was Flodden.
Like 15mm for WW2, but then I also like 20mm for WW2. I'm currently working on sort of WW1 era armies as well, but more with a fantasy/Lovecraftian type system rather that purely historical.
DeleteGreat pictures.
ReplyDeleteCould I ask you if you could put a followers thingie at the side so I could follow your posts with ease?
thanks
Alan
