A place where Ancient Ancient armies can peacefully retire to...
Possibly.
Oh, and some pulp. A few things on 6mm SciFi tanks and stuff. And the toy soldiers. Especially the War of 1897... And now I seem to be starting on 20mm Napoleonics as well!

Walked out of a Genesis concert once in Liverpool - 1975/6? - so loud couldn't hear anything except noise. Had one good point though - walked down the street and as we passed a folk club decided to go in there. This is how I discovered Fairport Convention...
The radio in Montreal played Tan Lin off Liege & Lea, bought the album and others, still listen to them. Haven't listened to my Genesis lp in 40+ years.
Went into a record shop while my wife was getting her hair done once - found a copy of the Fotheringay LP by Sandy Denny, very expensive but... my haircut plus the albumn was still less than she was paying so... Judy Dyble pretty good as well. Having said that, my main memory of that night was Dave Swarbrick jumping on and off the 4' stage all night playing his fiddle and he seemed as though he was only 3' tall himself!
Rob, where do get the hounds? I've been wanting to do some foxhunting in the Peninsula using British Napoleonic personalities and staff but can't find anything suitable for a pack and quarry.
I am reminded of the early Genesis track containing the following line “ Night is the time for chasing the one eyed hound...”

DeleteOh and nice car and hounds! Rather friendly and frisky looking though. Shot must have been taken just before the eyes turn red,

ReplyDeleteThey're supposed to be wolves from the old Garrison S&S Range.
